Culligan of Wheaton history
Culligan Wheaton was the first Culligan franchise location, a network that now includes 900+ locations. Founded in 1938, we originally rented 'Portable Exchange' tanks to our customers, which had to be regularly exchanged for fresh tanks and recharged off-site. In the 1950s we began offering automatic softeners and filters and in the 1960s expanded into drinking water and bottled water products. In 2011, Frank Panzeca purchased the franchise, and his sons, Nick and Sean, have held various roles at the dealership and currently manage the daily operations.
Local Community First
During our history we have provided the Culligan network with many innovations in sales, office and service management. We have been honored with numerous awards from Culligan including the Circle of Excellence, Silver Circle, and Top Dealership Awards. We were a founding member of the Water Quality Association and the state of Illinois Water Quality Association. We are members of the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, the Wheaton Downtown Association and other civic organizations.
While we have grown to become one of the premier Culligan dealerships, our goal today is the same as it was nearly 90 years ago - Customer satisfaction and retention through excellence in service.

Our water tastes much better now, than it did straight from the well. The folks at Culligan are easy to schedule appointments with to change filters for answer questions. Strongly Recommend! :)
